Situated only 45 minutes from Australia’s northern-most point – Cape York, Loyalty Beach Campground offers travellers the ideal location to pitch their base camp as they explore the Northern Peninsula Area. Loyalty Beach Fishing Lodge is situated at the northern end of the grounds and overlooks the magical waters of the Torres Strait. Contained within are 10 donga-style rooms with double or single beds, air conditioning, and bar fridges. Communal amenities and laundry facilities are available for lodge guests’ exclusive use, along with tea and coffee facilities.
Meals are prepared by an on-site chef and are served in the lodge’s licensed courtyard – the perfect place to enjoy a meal, a few drinks, and the spectacular Torres Strait sunsets.
A self-contained two-story Beach House is also available for both passing guests and corporate bookings. The house sleeps up to six people, with all linen and catering equipment supplied, and there is plenty of room to unroll a swag if extra bedding is required.
